On The Idea of Home is a thesis process book documenting eight months of conceptual and visual research. Investigating the concepts of spaces, possessions, shared practices, sentiments and conventions, the research is represented in A Psychology of Home, Member Sans and The Food Table. As the projects inform one another and have developed simultaneously, it seemed most appropriate to organize my documentation chronologically with the choice of paper colour to indicate which project the research pertains to. Pink for A Psychology of Home; blue for Member Sans; yellow for The Food Table; and white for research that has influenced multiple projects.
